Ailen Monti is a performer and expert in Medieval and Renaissance music, specializing in lutes and guitars. Known for her unique sound on the medieval plectrum lute, Ailen creates captivating performances that blend music, history, and storytelling. With a background in both historical (Schola Cantorum Basiliensis) and contemporary music, she has performed across Europe and leads the award-winning ensembles Parlamento and La Estameña. Ailen's innovative approach combines artistry, historical research, and a passion for musical craftsmanship that she also brings to her lessons as a Teacher of Arts.
